CS f0c

time: 21.47

it has been 3 days since the end of camp. The feeling on friday night was one of relief coupled with disbelief. Had we really really completed our 5 days of camp, after months of planning, meetings at starbucks and brickering with the east coast aunty for lower water cost?

I think the moment it ended, many of us were close to tears. I know, some pple may scoff at our emotional display. I mean, so many groups of pple organised F0C every year, what makes yours any difference?

I dun know, maybe it was the fact that we were all year 1s, inexperieced, but linked in this close knit community. It was a camp where subcommers worked as hard as the main commers, where seniors stayed back to help us, where everyone knew everyone else. I had a great batch of year 4 seniors working with me. They may have been supposed to be my subcommers, but i loved the way they had no airs about them, no disdain at being under a year 1. They were really the best. :)

And one thing about CS camps that i cannot comprehand, is the outfits that many of the freshies come in on the first day of camp. Polo tees, jeans, spag tops and skirts. Sometimes i wonder if they were coming for a camp or a shopping outing. Even in my year, this was the case. Leaving me to wonder if my attire of t shirt and pe shorts was wrong.

But ignoring their weird choice of clothes, this year's batch of freshies have been great. Their energy level is infectious and there were times where cheers came spontanously even without their GLs around. When school starts, i cannot wait to see how they will change the school. :)

The golden moment of camp, must have been the animal game. It was GREAT! lol i ran around pulling apart 'animals', then spend a good 10 mins running around alone yelling " ikan bilis" just for the sake of it. lol. One freshies even commented when i ran past him, " ikan bilis is an animal meh?" urm..its a fish rite?

anw...kudos to the whole main committee. It was been a blast working with you guys. For all the slogging, complains and tears, it was worth the experience. It is true that we find the most meaning working for friendship. I may not see many of you much next sem( cause my modules are really quite different from all of you), but i will still see you guys around rite? After all CS is only THAT big. :) love ya guys. meet up for our dinner soon!
